2007 Engineers Week Asian American Engineer of the Year Awards Washington, D.C. (February 18, 2007) – Chinese Institute of Engineers, USA (CIE-USA) is proud to co-sponsor National Engineers Week 2007. As part of the celebration of the National Engineers Week, CIE-USA is today announcing winners of the 6th Annual Asian American Engineer of the Year (AAEOY) Award. Two Distinguished Science and Technology Awards, two Distinguished Lifetime Achievement Awards, one Distinguished International Services Special Award and twelve corporate Asian American Engineer of the Year Awards are being given to outstanding American professionals of Asian heritage this year. World-renowned scientists and engineers and outstanding achievers nominated by leading corporations and companies of excellence are recognized by this program. These Asian American corporate leaders, scientists and engineers will receive awards at a celebration banquet to be held on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at the Hotel Washington, Washington, D.C. To inspire young professionals and engineering students, a full day program will be presented, including a Distinguished Lecture Series, career fair, exhibits, seminars, and a gala banquet. With the exception of the banquet, all are free to public.
