Dallas, Texas   January 7, 2008 - Chinese Institute of Engineers USA (CIE-USA), in conjunction with National Engineers Week (E-Week), is proud to announce the 2008 Asian American Engineer of the Year.

The annual AAEOY awards recognize outstanding Asian American contributions in science and engineering for their impact on the community.   Dr. Paul C. W. Chu, President of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Mr. Sanjiv Sidhu, Founder and Chairman of Board of i2 Technologies, Inc., have been awarded Lifetime Achievement awards.

Awardees will be honored on March 1, 2008 at the Renaissance Hotel in Richardson, Texas at our annual AAEOY Convention starting with a VIP reception at 4:30 p.m., followed by Award Presentations and dinner.  There will also be a post banquet party for those who like to stay and network
