Job Fair and Exhibition Information

Asian American engineers and scientists are making significant contributions to our society and are keeping the US at the forefront of the technology competition around the world. The Chinese Institute of Engineers – USA (CIE-USA) is proud to host the Asian American Engineer of the Year (AAEOY) Award to recognize distinguished Asian engineers during National Engineers Week over the past few years. This is the only national event of its kind and has received strong corporate, community, academic and government support. Over six hundred engineers, scientists, distinguished guests, honorees, corporate executives and community leaders from around the nation attend this event annually.

The 2006 AAEOY program includes technical and career development seminars as well as a job fair and exhibition for our sponsors during the day of the event.  We will broadly invite members and job prospects from the professional community to attend this program and we will pre-announce the sponsor job openings on the event web site.  The Job Fair & Exhibition creates an opportunity to make a connection between our sponsor companies and outstanding engineering talents for assignment in Asia and the US.

The venue of the 2006 AAEOY is at the Hilton Conference Center near SeaTac Airport in Seattle. We have reserved the Crystal Ballroom that has dimensions of 44’x114’x12’ (LxWxH) for the job fair. The room can provide up to thirty (30) 8’x10’ exhibition booths. Each booth will be provided with a table and two chairs with ample space between units.

Multiple booths are available to our premium sponsors or by special arrangement to meet your recruiting function and exhibition needs. There will be additional booths available for other business interests, large or small. There are separate rooms on the side that can be used for private in-depth discussions by exhibitors. The job fair & exhibition hall will be open for setup at 8:00 AM and open to the public from 10:00 AM till 4:00 PM. The target prospects include college students as well as working professionals.

The cost for each job fair or exhibition space is $1,000 for the day. There are several levels of sponsorship for the EWeek AAEOY event that will include one or two complimentary spaces. Additional information can be requested at mail@cie-sea.org or at:
